Margie Bissinger, MS, PT, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. She has worked in orthopedic physical therapy since 1979. Presently, Ms. Bissinger works with clients who have osteoporosis or are at risk for developing the disease both on an individual basis as well as through group osteoporosis education and exercise classes. She is the director of Workfit Consultants, a company dedicating to preventing and reducing the risk of osteoporosis and work site injuries. She has conducted many training programs for hospitals, and corporations on a variety of topics including osteoporosis, ergonomics, back care and neck care.
